How to clean your hands after brushing mushrooms - all the proven ways

Picking mushrooms in the woods has become a fascinating hobby for many villagers and city dwellers. It is always a pleasure to collect with their own hands a basket full of forest fruits, and then enjoy a variety of dishes prepared from them, and even make a solid stock for the winter.

Extremely tasty and nutritious butter mushrooms have their place among the different types of mushrooms. However, the process of collecting and handling them is associated with a big problem: the appearance of dark spots on the hands, which are firmly embedded in the skin and scrubbed with great difficulty.

They are caused by mucus covering the head of the oilcake. When it gets on your hands, it causes the skin to darken. The sticky oily grease gave its name to this type of mushroom. It is almost impossible to remove such dirt in the traditional way - with soap.

So how do you wash blackened skin, remove dirt from under the nails and give your hands back a well-groomed look? Wouldn't you have to wait weeks for the stains to go away on their own? Fortunately, the problem is solvable even at home.

There are many methods to help quickly remove the dirt from the hands from the buttercups.

Folk remedies

For effective stain removal, you will need only 20 g of this cleaner, diluted in 1.5 liters of water. You should hold your hands for 5 minutes in the resulting solution. If the stains do not come off, you can rub them with a hard sponge. After the bath, you should wash your hands with soap and water and gently blot with a towel.

Undiluted lemon juice

This remedy is excellent for getting rid of dirty spots on the skin. It is necessary to dip your hands for 5 minutes in the juice of 2-3 lemons. If you have the opportunity to clean your hands immediately after contact with mushrooms, it will be enough just to rub them with half of a cut lemon. The procedure ends with a thorough washing of the hands.

Vinegar 9%

The bleaching properties of vinegar can effectively solve the problem of contamination of the hands with butter mushrooms. Dissolving 100 ml of the substance in one liter of water, you can get an excellent cleanser. After the procedure, you need to wash your hands and apply a nourishing cream on them, so that the skin does not shrink. Do not use undiluted vinegar: it will lead to burns.

Special disinfectant wipes and alcohol, diluted with water in a 2:1 ratio, often help to solve the problem of dirty hands after butterflies.

Solvents

To achieve the desired result, you can wipe the contaminated areas with a cotton pad or gauze cloth soaked in nail polish remover, which includes acetone. When the contamination is gone, you need to wash your hands properly. It is not recommended to clean the skin with pure acetone and other aggressive substances: this can result in dryness, irritation and even burns.

Abrasives based on salt and soda

Mechanical methods

Washing with a pumice stone or a sponge

This simple method helps to remove the slimy plaque that forms on the skin after oiling, but is almost ineffective as a stain remover. There is another disadvantage of these items: they can not clean dirt from under the nails.

They are used if there are no other skin cleansers at hand. Before the procedure, it is advisable to steam your hands with hot water. It is not recommended to use a metal sponge to remove dirt: its coarse fibers can injure the skin.

Handwashing
