Simple ways to make traffic lights

In older preschool age, you can safely make crafts with the use of electrical components. A very original version - a traffic light out of plastic bottles. Suitable are 2-liter dark bottles. They are cut into three windows with scissors or a cutter. In each of them put a light bulb, connected by batteries and equipped with a button switch.

To install the traffic light near the intersection, set it on a portable PVC tube. Cover the windows with colored glass or film. Put the regulating device in working order by pressing the desired button.

Making a paper traffic light

A very simple but interesting handicraft is made in the technique of applique. The form of the traffic light is created from black cardboard. On one side three white circles are glued. Colored signals in the form of dog faces will be created from red, yellow and green paper.

Cut out a square of paper and fold it diagonally. Fold in half again. We received a triangle fold down the top corners, so that traced ears. They can be long or short. For each muzzle cut out of white paper circles for eyes.

  3. If the project includes a river, paint it blue or blue.
  4. Paint the road black and mark it white.
  5. Cut circles out of cardboard and draw traffic signs on them. To install next to the road, glue on a stand of wire.
  6. Traffic light is created from cardboard rectangle, which glued colored circles: red, yellow and green.

Model of a city for the game

Instead of a large city, you can create a small construction for the game of traffic rules, which is suitable for children of preschool age:

  1. Cut out a playing field from a large cardboard box, put houses and signs on it, and put crosswalks across the road.

To disguise the cut of the plastic, attach a plastic profile around the edges of the sign. It will form a neat white border.
