How to create beaded trees - step by step master class for beginners and experienced craftswomen

Beadwork is a wonderful hobby that does not require a lot of money. It is popular for a long time, so new, more and more complex, crafts for weaving are constantly being invented.

One of these types is weaving trees from beads with their own hands. These are very large-scale and complex works, as they include a large number of elements. In this article, master classes on weaving trees from beads will be discussed.

Standard beading kit.

  • Beads of different colors and sizes.
  • Copper wire or fishing line.
  • Scissors.
  • Tissue to keep the beads from flying around the table.
  • Duct tape.
  • Alabaster.
  • Pot.

Weaving techniques.

There are a large number of different weaving techniques to suit all tastes. These include:

  • Needlework. A wire with beads is threaded through the base and tightened.
  • Parallel flat. The wire is passed through the beads, and then a new row is started.
  • Volumetric parallel. Identical to the above, the difference is that the rows are placed in different areas.
  • French. From two wires an arc is formed.
  • Loop. Finished elements are obtained in the form of loops.
  • Mosaic. A very dense weaving, in this case the beads are firmly fastened to each other.
  • Mesh. Suitable for braiding various objects.
  • Brick stitch. The beads are staggered in horizontal rows, reminiscent of brickwork.

The basis for weaving.

Beadwork uses a large number of wires of different diameters. The main ones are:

  • Diameter of 0.2 millimeters. It is used to make small elements.
  • The diameter of 0.5 millimeters. It is used to make more rigid parts, flower frames and stems.
  • 1 mm in diameter. It is used to make rigid parts for which the wire of 0.5 millimeters is not suitable.

Types and sizes.

It is not necessary to buy the first beads that come across, you should look at its quality. The quality of beads can be determined by its manufacturer. According to the form of beads is distinguished as follows:

  • Normal. Small beads with a round or square hole.
  • Chopped. Small tubes of up to 2 millimeters long.
  • Glass beads. Long, faceted tubes, 3-25 millimeters long.

As for the manufacturer, the highest quality beads are made in the Czech Republic or Japan. When choosing a bead must carefully inspect the bag, so that it was not defective.

Master classes.

In this section, algorithms of weaving trees from beads for beginners will be reviewed.

Sakura.

The necessary components:

  • Thick and thin wire.
  • Beads in pink, red and green.
  • Glue.
  • Plastic bag.
  • Tinfoil.
  • Gouache.
  • Alabaster.
  • Pot.

Weaving procedure:

  1. The base for the trunk is made from thick wire.
  2. In a pot poured alabaster, and placed the trunk. You need to wait until the alabaster hardens.
  3. Green paint is painted on the table.
  4. The area near the entrance of the trunk into the alabaster is covered with green beads.
  5. On a thin wire beads 10 beads pink, and then made a leaf, every 2 centimeters are 5 more of these leaves. On top of leave a reserve of 10 centimeters.
  6. On top of red beads made 5 loops of 3 beads and tightened to the petals.
  7. Each twig should have 8 such flowers.
  8. It is desirable to make not less than 70 branches, so that the tree will be lush.
  9. The top of the tree will be 5 branches connected to each other.
  10. From the 3 twigs and 8 small loops are made lush twigs. There should be a total of 4.
  11. Lush twigs are set just below the top.
  12. Of the three branches are made one puffy, it will make up the top of the branch of the sakura. Such tops are made on all branches.
  13. Then make a branch of 13 ordinary loops. A total of 90 such branches should be made.
  14. From the three long branches, twisted together, is made one lush. You need a total of 4 such branches.
  15. Lush twigs are fixed just below the top of each branch of the sakura.
  16. Following the same algorithm are decorated with other branches of the tree.
  17. In the same way, the branches of the lower rows are decorated.
  18. Cut paper towel and ribbons are wrapped around all the branches. Brown thread can also be used for this.
  19. The trunk is painted with paint.

Spruce.

The necessary components:

  • Beads are green and white.
  • Wire diameter of 0.3 mm.
  • Alabaster.
  • Pot.
  • String or electrical tape.

Weaving procedure.

  1. On the wire strung 7 green and 2 white beads.
  2. The wire is pulled through 1 white and all green beads.
  3. Then string 2 white and 9 green beads. Repeat the procedure from step 2.
  4. The algorithm is repeated 7 times.
  5. The end result is a branch of a spruce, it is wrapped with insulating tape or thread.
  6. The remaining branches are made, then connected to each other and fixed in a solution of alabaster.

Rowan.

Necessary components:

  • Beads of green and orange color.
  • Wire 0.3 and 0.5 millimeters in diameter.
  • Wooden stick for the trunk.
  • String brown.
  • Alabaster.
  • Pot.
  • Paint.

Weaving procedure:

  1. A wire of 40 centimeters in length is taken. Step back from the edge of 10 centimeters, 7 beads are put on it, of which a loop is formed. Every 1.5-2 centimeters the loop is repeated. There should be a total of 7 loops.
  2. Wire is folded in half and twisted, loops to form a branch. A total of 18 branches should be made.
  3. Take a wire length of 50 centimeters, also from the bottom to indent 10 centimeters.
  4. Made 9 loops of 7 beads in a similar manner. Wire is folded in half and twisted. We get a sprig of a larger.
  5. These sprigs need to make 27 pieces.
  6. Cuts the wire of 20 centimeters, 10 centimeters off the edge and put a bead and twisted. Make 4 more of these berries. Berries are combined into a bunch and twisted, we get a bunch of rowan. In total there should be 18.
  7. All elements of the rowan are divided into 9 equal parts with the same proportion of components.
  8. Thick wire connect the bunch and twigs, first small, then large.
  9. A total of 9 twigs are obtained, of which 3 lush branches are made.
  10. A wooden stick is taken, and the resulting branches are attached to it.
  11. Coat the trunk of the tree with alabaster, then wrap it with brown thread or paint it.
  12. Alabaster near the rowan tree can be painted green or decorated with various accessories that form greenery.

Beading trees is quite difficult and time-consuming. The resulting handicrafts can decorate the interior of your home or become a great gift to friends on a holiday. You can also make your own money tree or other symbolic tree, which will bring only positive emotions.
