How to Draw a Birch Step by Step: An Easy Way to Gouache and Pencil for Children and Beginners

Among other trees in Russia, the birch is particularly loved. It is considered to be a symbol of the country. Many songs and poems are dedicated to it. The beauty of this tree can be reflected on the canvas. To begin with, it does not hurt to figure out how to draw a birch beautifully and quickly on a scrapbook page.

Steps of birch drawing for beginners

For the lesson, it is enough to prepare a scrapbook sheet, a simple pencil of medium hardness and an eraser.

It is recommended to draw a lonely birch on a sheet vertically. Then it is not difficult to place it in its entirety. If several trees are depicted, the leaf can lie both vertically and horizontally.

For children, before drawing a birch, the lesson begins with determining its place on the sheet. To make the tree not look detached from the ground, the same distance is taken from the top and bottom edges of the leaf. Do the same with the side edges.

1. The work begins with drawing the trunk of the birch tree.

The tape is removed and white stripes appear on the sheet, which will be the basis for the birch trunk.
